Staying on Disney Property at the Disneyland Resort can be extremely expensive since there are only three hotels, and only two of which have easy access to the theme parks. You can save a lot of money by staying nearby, and not worry about parking fees since many hotels in the area are within walking distance from the Harbor Blvd entrance. Here are the best hotels to stay at near Disneyland.
The Anaheim Hotel
The Anaheim Hotel is my new favorite hotel to stay at! The hotel underwent serious renovations during covid and now hosts a tropical mid-century modern aesthetic. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with all of our requests. The rooms have larger bathrooms than the standard hotel room, and most of the rooms have a patio or balcony. The Anaheim Hotel also offers complimentary high-speed internet, the largest outdoor swimming pool in the Anaheim Resort District, Outdoor recreation area with family size lawn games, and more. The hotel is a short 6 minute walk from the main entrance.
Tropicana Inn & Suites
The Tropicana Inn & Suites is perfectly situated across the street from the entrance to the Disneyland Resort, so this is perfect for those not wanting to walk for more than a minute. This hotel offers complimentary wireless internet, and has a pool and hot tub, along with a gift shop and food options.
Del Sol Inn
Growing up, the Del Sol Inn was always my family's go to. It was by far the cheapest option, and right across the street from the entrance to the Disneyland Resort. This hotel is tucked behind a Denny's and is often overlooked. The hotel is exactly what it claims to be, a 2-star motel, but if you plan to be out and about most of the day then the Del Sol Inn will give you the biggest bang for your buck.
Castle Inn and Suites
The Castle Inn and Suites is for those who don't want the theming to end once they leave the parks. This hotel is themed to castles and medieval times. The Castle Inn and Suites offers free wifi and parking, along with a gift shop. This hotel is just a short 7 minute walk from the resort entrance.
Hyatt House At Anaheim Resort/Convention Center
While Hyatt House is the farthest walking distance on this list at 9 minutes, it is the nicest. Hyatt House offers large, new rooms, free breakfast, complimentary wifi, a pool, and more. This hotel also has shopping and dinning options around it. There is a Walgreens for any last minute necessities, a Starbucks, a Blaze Pizza, and more in the immediate area.
