Thinking of visiting central Florida theme parks during the off-season? The off-season is a great time to visit for those looking to score extra discounts and avoid large crowds, but there is a trade-off, not every attraction is operational. Major theme parks like Walt Disney World resort, Universal Studios Orlando resort, SeaWorld, and more use the off-season for ride refurbishment. While most refurbishments are normal annual maintenance, others can be long term, major changes to the attractions. Here are the refurbishments scheduled for each park in 2022:
